West Hartford Frame Shop became a framer, exhibited paintings on occasion

Books and Cheese, Hartford, CT Owner, Sonya Whetstone, (originally from Brooklyn, NY),
brought the first alternative book store to Hartford, CT. Became an artist community.

Curated a Solo Show of paintings in my home, developed Friday Evening Salons: poetry
readings, art shows, theatre
1985
Trinity College Invitational Tribute for Truda Kaschmann. Trudy Kaschmann, a
mentor and student of Martha Grahm, brought Modern Dance to The Hartford Conservatory.
I contributed a performance piece of dance, piano composition and set design.

Something Old, Something New was a grass roots, retail shop I created in West Hartford,
CT. Art exhibits, readings, musical performance, and classes. Books, garments, greeting cards.

Montessori Magnet, Hartford CT: assistant to Head Teacher in all capacities, worked with students on art projects,

My work is about a practice of meditation with color, shapes and direction, informed
by translations of life experience. It is about the persistence in maintaining

It is the breath from your body, on winters cold morning, the sun warms the wing of the wren.
